Message from the President

On behalf of the Board of Directors, I would personally like to welcome you to the official web page of your Courtenay Alberni Conservative Association. 

Our riding, located in the mid-island area of Vancouver Island, is steeped in history, rich in culture, and diverse in its constituents, its industry and its geography.  Our riding is home to vibrant indigenous and non-indigenous communities made up of families, professionals, schools and businesses with active citizens from all walks of life. The riding extends from coast to coast and encompasses 8,751 square kilometers of mid Vancouver Island.

Our boundaries begin in North Nanaimo and Lantzville in the south east", extend up the east coast of the Island to Courtenay (but does not include Comox)  and westward past Port Alberni through the majestic mountains, lakes, and forests of the Alberni Valley to a Canadian treasure, the Pacific Rim National Park.

As Conservatives we share strong values around hard work, prudent fiscal management, respect for the rule of law and individual responsibility.

This coming next few months will see a federal election. Perhaps more than any election in recent history, this election will provide a clear and distinct opportunity to elect a new conservative government with real leadership, fiscal responsibility, and a dedication to enacting common sense for all Canadians.

I personally encourage every Courtenay-Alberni riding resident to take a few moments to browse the site and its contents. As these next few months unfold and the election nears, you will see increased activity as we ensure all residents are acutely aware of the issues and solutions that our party will provide to enhance the lives of all of us.

I invite you to join us by becoming a member of the Conservative Party of Canada, become and an active participant in our events, and adding your name to our growing list of volunteers and supporters who, like you, want to make a difference in the community and in Canada.
